Monday, March 10th, 2008Carrying the load. Bryant Dunston had more rebounds (11) than the rest of his fellow starters combined (9) in the Rams win over St. Bonaventure on Saturday.
North of 30. Charlotte’s Leemire Goldwire has had six 30+ point performances on the year.
Marksman. In his last three games, Dayton’s Brian Roberts is shooting 55% (10-18) from beyond the arc.
Great Scot! Duquesne’s Kieron Achara was a perfect 12 for 12 from the line against Saint Louis on Saturday and is 17 for 18 in his last two games.
Nickel’s Worth of Dimes. Temple’s Mark Tyndale has registered at least five assists in 11 of 16 conference games this season.
Glass work. Rhode Island’s Kahiem Seawright has enjoyed three 15 rebound performances in conference play: Saturday versus Charlotte and earlier against UMass & Temple.
Tough night. Dante Milligan of UMass was held scoreless for the first time all year Saturday versus George Washington.
Locking down. In conference play, only St. Bonaventure, Temple and Saint Joseph’s (twice) have shot better than 45% from the field against Xavier.
Finishing Strong. Sergio Olmos of Temple (5.6 ppg., 3.5 rpg on the season) has averaged 15 points and 5.5 rebounds in his last two contests.

Mirror Image. On Sunday, Charlotte and Duquesne each fired-up 30 three-point shots, and both connected on 11 from beyond the arc.
Triple Threat. Dan Geriot (35 points), Kevin Anderson (21 points) and David Gonzalvez (11 points) accounted for nearly 82% of the offensive output for the Spiders in their 82-71 victory over St. Bonaventure on Wednesday.
Efficiency lacking. Despite attempting 23 more shots than Temple on Wednesday, the ‘Niners made just two more than the Owls in their 75-61 setback.
Fantastic First Half. On Wednesday, George Washington’s 18 first half field goals equaled Rhode Island’s field goal total for the game.
Sensational from the Stripe. Fordham was a perfect 12-12 from the free throw line in the first half of their game Wednesday versus LaSalle.
Brilliant Brian. Brian Roberts has led Dayton in scoring in nine of their last 10 contests.
Sharing the wealth. Rhode Island had 20 assists in their victory over LaSalle on Saturday.
Perfection from Relph. St. Bonaventure guard Tyler Relph is a perfect 38-38 from the charity stripe in Atlantic 10 play.

Who needs a bench? In their contest against LaSalle on Monday, St Joe’s starters played 184 of a possible 200 total minutes.
Fabulous from the floor. Temple shot 62.1% from the floor in the second half of their game against St. Bonaventure on Wednesday. The Owls defeated the Bonnies 96-82.
Brilliant Bobby. With an 81-64 victory over Saint Louis on Saturday, Bobby Lutz became the winningest coach in Charlotte basketball history. Lutz has registered 183 wins during his 10 years in Charlotte.
Where’s the ‘D’? In their last 4 games, URI has given up a total of 361 points.

LaSalle logging minutes. Nine Explorers played at least 17 minutes in their 22 point rout of N.J.I.T. on Wednesday night.
Nothing for Free. Duquesne did not attempt a free throw during the second half of their game against Dayton on Wednesday. The Dukes defeated the Flyers 63-61.
Tough Start. George Washington managed just five field goals in the first half against Saint Louis. The Colonials lost by 25 to the Billikens.
Who needs regulation? With their 92-89 victory over Rhode Island, the Owls improved to 4-0 in overtime games this season.
