Congratulations are in order once again for the Temple Owls. For the third straight year, the bounces on the Boardwalk were kind to TU, as Fran Dunphy's club pocketed its third straight Atlantic 10 Tournament Championship. With the regular season and Atlantic 10 Tournament concluded, CCT's Game of the Week takes a hiatus until resuming next season. Congratulations to Temple, Richmond, Xavier, Rhode Island, Dayton, Duquesne, Saint Louis and George Washington... all of which qualified for the 2009-10 postseason. Best of luck to all and we'll see you in November for the Game of the Week, plus the ever-expanding coverage of the Atlantic 10 conference and college basketball in general.
An old coach once told me "there are no style points in February. And it's true. Late February is the toughest month in college basketball, for a multitude of reasons.
